Businesses may begin their application process with the Bureau of Cannabis Control in Sacramento so long as they have received a permit from the city they plan to operate in. Each municipality can determine their own rules and regulations as to how commercial cannabis will coexist in their communities, if at all. Cities still hold the final ruling on whether or not marijuana businesses can operate within their jurisdiction.

Because Pot Valet collaborates with many dispensaries, it is able to offer patients the widest choice of marijuana strains and other products. Flowers, concentrates, oils, lubricants, vapors, feminine hygiene products, and even a variety of cannabis edibles, patients have access to the largest selection of marijuana available anywhere in California, all products are tested in laboratories for quality and assurance.
When medical marijuana first became legal in Las Vegas and Greater Nevada, our marijuana dispensary wasn’t only one of the first to open its doors—it was also one of the first to make marijuana delivery available to eligible patients and customers. Now, with recreational marijuana sales in full swing across the state, marijuana delivery is one of the simplest and most convenient ways to buy your green.
I really do not understand why everyone is so butt hurt by the customer service. They always reply to my emails. They answer my support tickets. Does everyone on this review page expect that they will be perfect 100% of the time. No. No one on earth is. Give them a break. Can you see how many orders they are getting? Obviously they are busy. I have spent over $1000 on this website. The only hiccup they have made was with my December, 5 order. They sent me a email and are replacing my order and I might still receive my original order. That is fine with me. Its Christmas, quit being cry babies. Thank you Jay and everyone on the Ganja team for all that you do for me and everyone else. Keep up the good work.
Meanwhile, Dr. Whitfill said, “At the same time, people are realizing that coming up with the algorithm is one piece, but that there are surprising complications. So you develop an algorithm on Siemens equipment, but when you to Fuji, the algorithm fails—it no longer reliably identifies pathology, because it turns out you have to train the algorithm not just on examples form just one manufacturer, but form lots of manufacturers. We continue to find that these algorithms are not as consistent as identifying yourself on Facebook, for example. It’s turning out that radiology is way more complex. We take images on lots of different machines. So huge strides are being made,” he said. “But it’s very clear that human and machine learning together will create the breakthroughs. We talk about physician burnout, and even physicians leaving. I think that machine learning offers a good chance of removing a lot of the drudgery in healthcare. If we can automate some processes, then it will free up our time for quality judgment, and also to spend time talking to patients, not just staring at the screen.”
These guys rock! I have wanted to write them a review for a while and after my last delivery, i gotta do it. I ordered... read more before they opened and they still had my delivery at my door in 30 mins. The people are always friendly and happy to chat with me on the phone when I have questions or need advice. It's great to know there are people that genuinely care about their customers in the cannabis industry. read less

The company has an intriguing startup story. Fifteen years ago, one of the founders’ mother, Patti Green, was an emergency department social worker in Boise, Idaho, and suspected that some patients were opioid seekers. She set up a rudimentary collaborative care plan for providers to use to identify and help these patients. “It is easy for us now to talk about the opioid epidemic. Nobody was really talking about it 15 years ago, but she was seeing it on the ground,” says Chris Klomp, Collective’s CEO, “and she did something about it.”

To help them draft the ordinances, the city has set aside a budget to hire a consulting firm to “sit with professional city staff, our professional city planners and determine how many dispensaries are needed by this community, where should they go, who should the operators be, [and] how we select the operators,” said Olivier during the 12/14 City Council meeting.
We realized that while bootstrapping a company gives you tremendous autonomy to do the right thing, it’s a rate limiter to growth. Building a network effects-enabled platform hasn’t been previously done at scale in healthcare. We raised capital to accelerate our growth across the country, to deepen our technical capability with significant R&D dollars, and to gain partners who can help us think through these things since this is our first rodeo.

Baumgartner’s relationship with cannabis started in her teens, around the same time she was diagnosed with anxiety. Refusing to take pills to deal with her nerves, she took on a move natural approach that included surfing and smoking weed. “My Italian-Catholic mother was horrified,” Baumgartner joked, but clearly her system worked. Now, at age 49, she’s staying ahead of her anxiety in a similar way, with smoking, surfing, meditation and eating right, she’s able to live a successful and productive life.
The findings were then reviewed with the physician IT group, or what Sanders calls the PIT crew, to select what they refer to as the “Goldilocks” cohort. “This is a group of patients that had the combination of low cost, short length of stay, low readmissions and almost zero mortality rate. We then can publish the care path and then monitor adherence to that care path across our physicians,” Sanders says.
“But Woodlake – a town of less than 8,000 people about 15 miles northeast of Visalia in Tulare County – has pushed forward at breakneck speed, going from idea to ordinance to the approval of two companies’ dispensary proposals in less than six months. City leaders hope to unlock a treasure trove of tax revenue, which can be used to beef up a thinning public service budget and attract customers to a blip on the map found well off the beaten path.” (Rory Appleton, The Fresno Bee)
