Salt Lake City, Utah-based patient management platform maker Collective Medical Technologies announced today that it has raised $47.5 million in a series A funding round led by investment firm Kleiner Perkins. Other participants in the round include Bessemer Venture Partners, Maverick Ventures, Kaiser Permanente Ventures, Providence Ventures, Peterson Ventures, and Epic Ventures.
“Every hospital has been struggling with this for decades, managing clinical variation,” he says, noting that traditional methods of addressing clinical variation management have been inefficient, as developing care pathways, which involves identifying best practices for high-cost procedures, often takes up to six months or even years to develop and implement. “By the time you finish, it’s out of date,” Sanders says. “There wasn’t a good way of doing this, other than picking your spots periodically, doing analysis and trying to make sense of the data.”
They have a good collection of stuff. I've been to really sleek and hip dispensaries and those are easy on the eyes, but I don't find the bud to be any different in quality thank from here. Plus, this dispensary is nowhere near dirty or anything. It's just that compared to the super sleek hipster ones, this one looks kinda basic. But I don't mind or care. I saw on leafly or something that people said the bud here is moldy - that's never happened to me ever. Ever ever. One time though I did find a G of bubble yum recently that was legit like almost an entire year old. I opened it up and it def was not as dank as it once was, but it was literally somehow chillin lost in a bottom cabinet. For nearly an entire year. Breaking down the weed I noticed a white kind of fuzzy substance - not a whole whole lot but still somewhat noticeable. I was kinda like fuck it and smoked it anyways and it definitely took me longer to get where I wanted to be but I didn't feel any chest pain or tons of coughing - basically was just old weed. So maybe it was mold but I have pretty sensitive allergies and shit and if it was I feel like I would have felt died lol.
So much remains ambiguous about the regulated future of legalized pot in California, even more so in the Central Valley. As some cities are still waiting to make their final decision, others have banned it outright, and Fresno is soon to embark on the unique challenge of writing new policies for medical marijuana businesses, from growing all the way to sales – but one thing is clear, and that it is going to make for a busy yet very interesting 2018.
Marion expressed surprise at the seemingly all-encompassing focus on artificial intelligence this year, given the steady march towards value-based healthcare-driven mandates. “Outside of one vendor, I’m not really seeing a whole lot of emphasis this year on value-based care; that’s disappointing,” Marion said. “I don’t know whether people don’t get it or not about value-based care, but the vendors are clearly more focused on AI right now.”
“We’re putting collaboration at the heart of the solution to a fragmented healthcare system,” says Chris Klomp, CEO of Collective Medical. “Our job is to connect care teams. By arming providers and payers with real-time insights and a platform to seamlessly collaborate across organizations and care settings, we ensure patients don’t slip through the cracks.” Klomp adds that, “we are beyond excited and grateful to be joined by such an extraordinary group of investors who share our vision for further enriching and expanding our network to help care teams provide the most effective care possible.”
Our goal now is to invest in the platform and to grow networks. Building network effect-enabled platforms is capital intensive because you need to reach critical density in a given geography to create value for the constituents there. We’ve done a pretty good job of that. We’re live in 17 states, not just with one or two hospitals, but penetrated broadly to 100 percent of acute hospitals. We’ve got a bunch more in the hopper.
Collective Medical is a Salt Lake City-based developer of collaboration software. I started working on the company with two of my best friends from Boise, Idaho. We grew up together and we all went to Brigham Young University together. Two of us studied computer science and I was the token business guy. I went off to Bain & Company and then Bain Capital for roughly a decade.
Since they are derived from cannabis plants classified as hemp, all of the products you’ll find on Eaze Wellness are legal to purchase and ship. So don’t be intimidated by the confusing patchwork of marijuana laws that vary from state to state. Because of Eaze’s deep understanding of the cannabis industry, you can rest assured you’re getting a quality product at a fair price, and also that you’re doing everything by the book.
While the city Excise department has targeted the areas such as Dhoolpet, Mehedipatnam, Nanakramguda, etc., which are prone to ganja peddling, peddlers have found their ways to deliver the drug to specific location with the help of a phone call. Akhil (20) (name changed), a student from a reputed engineering college in the city, was addicted to the drug and is currently undergoing a de-addiction therapy.
In terms of strains they usually have... don't quote me but I remember seeing Skywalker OG, Liquid Coke and Charlie Sheen. I've bought King Louis XIII here, Master OG, Purple Widow, Mega Wellness, Bubble Yum, Velvet Purps, etc. They also have Korova Edibles, weed Hot Cheetos, LOL edibles brownies, weed sour belts, weed lemonade, weed syrup, weed chocolate and Cali Fresh Knockout Punches. Obviously didn't list all of it but that's just off the top of my head.
Yes! Sister Sesh Sunday is a movement 100% connected to Ganja Goddess Getaway. It’s a way you can virtually connect to one another, especially after you’ve experienced a Ganja Goddess retreat. We’ve been through something wonderful together. We’ve made time to practice radical self-love. Not many people know what that feels like. Those skills are honed in for me. On Sunday, take a selfie and post it at 4:20. Tag #SisterSeshSunday and @ganjagoddessgetaway. That’s it. We’re virtually connecting to say we’re practicing radical self-love this week. We’re putting our intentions out to be our best self this week. We’ve got a whole tribe who can support you.
Workshops are generally a combination of classroom instruction and hands-on demonstrations, so students should be prepared to get their hands dirty — literally. Mixing soil is a key element of the Methods of Cultivation class. Smoking is prohibited in the classroom, though vape pens are allowed. Still, the focus is on instruction rather than consumption, the owners say.
Located in Fresno County, the city began as a humble stop on the San Joaquin Railroad. Land developers always arrive to do their thing, working land deals, about any new or proposed railway station. In 1890-2, a group of Fresno businessmen brought the railway to town and in doing so, purchased the right-of-way from Clovis farmers as well as the surrounding territory. Sadly, this is formula of how to make big money. Insiders use insider information and have access to cash to take advantage of the situation. All the while, good honest work that forms the real backbone of the country strong my not necessarily be rewarded. While these entrepreneurs and their financiers are the catalyst in making it all happen, too many low life gamers scoop off more than their fair share of the cream. Does capitalism equate to insider deals and foul play? No, cheaters cheat, to get more than their fair share, no matter what the system.
